Hi! All Sponsors and Friends,

Hello I Salaam! Namaste! Yes, Greetings from India. A dream has come true. My niece, Frances (or Frances Mary as she is called in India) with her husband Robert, and his sister Penny, and Chris her husband have just spent a wonderful time in India, during their Easter holidays. As Penny and her husband were working in Ahmedabad, they had invited Robert and Frances to come before, but they were unable to go. So at last, at the end of March they flew straight to Ahmedabad, and then had a few days holiday together in the lovely Kullu Valley in the Himalayan district (this is somewhere that I had not visited).

From there, they went south to Andhra Pradesh, and had 3 amazing days in Hebron Hostel. They said it was quite emotional from start to finish!! So - in the first photo (below), you see Frances Mary with members of the staff - Sharon on her right, and Grade on her left. It was wonderful how the Lord answered prayer for them all the way along:
  1. Giving them good health, for both Frances and Robert had had minor operations and some problems before they left !

  2. Keeping the temperature at a a reasonable level, which they were able to endure! Jennie said it was not as hot as last year !

  3. Protecting them in all their various travels.

  4. Finally giving them this joyous and memorable time of fellowship at the 3 Hs.

In the second photo you see the 4 of them with Jennie Grace, who was delighted to welcome them, and show them the different buildings and activities. Then of course there was a special program of songs, dances, and skits, and on Easter Sunday they attended the church in Nidadavol, where Robert had to 'give a word'. That a.m. they all got up early and went to the top of Hosanna House, to read the Resurrection Scriptures, sing Easter Songs, and celebrate the glorious event of Christ's Resurrection as the sun arose. Jennie had also invited several of the previous staff and some of the 'old' students, to meet Frances & co. so it was a great time of rejoicing.

Another happy event took place while they were there. A very special item of apparatus for the children's play park arrived and was installed, and Frances was asked to 'open' or dedicate it!. It is a large circular climbing frame, like a Globe, and in the third photo. You can see a merry group of girls on mis, with Robert joining in, Lakshmi ascending on the right, and Grade looking on from below! This has been purchased with gifts made for my 90th birthday, and we are all delighted with it.

They also experienced a further instance of God's gracious care and perfect timing. Some friends in Child's Trust who are sponsors, had made a generous gift to the Hostel, especially for an A\C Room thinking of the Seniors who had to study for Exams in the heat of summer. This work had just been completed, so that when Frances and co. came they, with other visitors - Joy Tilsley and Santosham from Narsapur, and Esther Sirra, were able to enjoy the cool refreshment of this room. How Good is our God! Naturally, I felt as though I was participating in everything with them, especially when I watched the videos! ( although it was only my body that could not do so!! ) but what a thrill to talk to them on the phone while they were there. We praise God who has given us these times of Joy.
